Cookie Notice

Last updated: July 1, 2026

This Cookie Notice explains how Z Junk Removal(“we,” “us,” or “our”), uses cookies and similar technologies when you visit zjunkremoval.com. Read this alongside our Privacy Policy, which explains how we handle personal information more broadly.

1. What cookies are

A cookie is a small text file that a website places on your device when you visit. Cookies let a site remember your choices, keep you signed in, and measure how the site is used. Some cookies stay only for the length of your visit (session cookies); others stay across visits (persistent cookies).

This notice also covers similar technologies that work like cookies for the same purposes, including local storage, pixels, web beacons, and tag containers. We use the word “cookies” below to mean all of these together.

2. How we use cookies on this site

We group the cookies on zjunkremoval.com into two categories. Essential cookies are always on because the site cannot function without them. Analytics cookies are off by default and turn on only if you accept non-essential cookies through our cookie banner.

Essential cookies (always on)

These cookies are necessary for the site to work. They support basic site delivery, security, fraud prevention, and remembering your cookie preferences. They include cookies set by our hosting and security infrastructure (Cloudflare) and a small record of your cookie banner choice so we do not show the banner repeatedly. We do not need your consent for these cookies because the site cannot work without them.

Analytics cookies (off until you accept)

If you accept analytics cookies, we use Google Analytics 4, delivered through Google Tag Manager, to understand how visitors find and use the site (which pages get traffic, how people arrive, and what they interact with). Google Analytics sets a first-party cookie that assigns your browser a random identifier so we can tell returning visits from new ones. That cookie stays on your device across visits, for up to 24 months, unless you clear it. We review the results in aggregate to measure site traffic. We do not use them to identify you by name, and we have not turned on Google's advertising or cross-site personalization features for this measurement. These cookies load only after you accept them. If you decline, or if your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, no analytics cookies are set.

3. Your choices

You have several ways to control the cookies set on your device through this site.

Cookie banner

When you first visit zjunkremoval.com, our cookie banner asks you to accept or decline the non-essential cookie categories above. You can change your choice at any time by selecting “Cookie Settings” in the site footer.

Browser controls

Most browsers let you block cookies, delete cookies, or alert you when a site tries to set them. The settings live in your browser’s privacy or security menu. Blocking essential cookies may stop parts of the site from working.

Global Privacy Control (GPC)

If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, we treat that signal as your opt-out of the sale and sharing of personal information under California law. When we detect a GPC signal on your browser, we do not load non-essential (analytics) cookies on the site, regardless of any earlier banner choice you made. You do not need to take any other step for the GPC signal to be honored.

Do Not Track

Some browsers send a “Do Not Track” signal. Because no industry standard exists for how websites should respond to Do Not Track, we do not respond to it. We do respond to Global Privacy Control as described above.

4. Cookies set by third parties

Some cookies are set by services we use to run the site or measure how it performs. When you visit the site, these third parties may receive limited information about your visit even before you interact with their content. The third parties listed below are the ones we currently use or may use; we will update this list when we add or remove a provider.

  • Cloudflare: site delivery, performance, security, bot protection. Essential category.
  • Google (Analytics and Tag Manager): measurement of how visitors use the site. Analytics category.

These providers process the data we share with them under their own privacy policies and contractual terms with us. For details on what data they receive and how they use it, see each provider’s own privacy policy.

5. California residents and your rights

If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA), gives you specific rights about personal information we collect through cookies and other technologies. These rights are described in full in our Privacy Policy, including the right to know, the right to delete, the right to correct, the right to limit use of sensitive personal information, and the right to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information.

You can exercise the opt-out right in any of these ways:

  1. Decline non-essential cookies through our cookie banner, or change your choice later through Cookie Settings in the footer.
  2. Use a Global Privacy Control signal in your browser, which we honor automatically as described in Section 3.
  3. Contact us using the information in Section 8 below.

We do not knowingly sell or share the personal information of California residents under the age of 16 without affirmative authorization.

6. Residents of the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, and Switzerland

If you visit this site from the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, our cookie banner gives you a choice to accept or decline non-essential (analytics) cookies before they load. You can withdraw consent at any time through Cookie Settings in the footer. For the broader privacy rights that apply to you under the GDPR and the UK GDPR (including the rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, and objection), see Section 11 of our Privacy Policy.

7. Changes to this notice

We may update this Cookie Notice from time to time. When we do, we will post the updated notice on this page and revise the “Last updated” date above. If we make a material change in how we use cookies, we will surface the change through the cookie banner so you can review and update your choices. Changes are effective when posted.
